Turn a deaf ear and turn a blind eye?

July 29th 2011 00:01
relationship basics foundation communication understanding

What’s necessary to make it work?

Trust is said to be one of the most important factor of a relationship, but what would keep the flames glowing?

Someone once said that a perfect match could only be found between a blind wife and a deaf husband, because the blind wife cannot see the faults of the husband and the deaf husband cannot hear the nagging of the wife. Many couples are blind and deaf at the courting stage, and dream of a perpetual perfect relationship. Unfortunately, when the clouds move away and the excitement wears off, they wake up and discover that the relationship is not a bed of roses.

So, it would seem that communication and understanding are as key as trust is.

What do you think?
