Which ones to buy?
January 20th 2008 10:12
It’s an (almost) unanimous view that whether you’re male or female, you should be doing the responsible thing…use condoms/have condoms/don’t be afraid of condoms.
Big question now is, which style to carry? Condoms these days come in an array of colours, flavours and textures to satisfy just about every user.
Now, if you’re a man – you’ll probably pick what you like, and what fits. For the woman, a critical dilemma and potential sensitive decision is…which size?! The regular size is 52-54mm nominal width (depending on the brand and type), the next size up is 56mm, and then the 58mm. For those who prefer a snugger fit, there’s also 49mm.
It may be measured in millimetres, but 'one size does not fit all' – as highlighted in a recent research. A correct fit is not only for pleasure, but offers better protection against unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.
A lot of you have already *met* my friends Elise and Joe – these are their anecdotes…
Elise (as told to her after…)…
Things get a little heated-up, and moved into the bedroom. Fumbling around in the bedside table, the condom is found. Feeling a bit odd, he shrugged off the feeling…enjoying the moment. Minutes later, in the dimly lit room – he turned red and looked slightly shocked, ‘LARGE’ glared at him in the dimly lit room.
Joe…
What if he’s too way to big for the regular? Ever tried that pair of jeans (from your younger days)? Likely, mission impossible, eh. Time to pop out to the 7-eleven…
Monogamy is naturally the preferred scenario, but nothing is *perfect* in this world of ours…so should we have a selection of styles and sizes to cover all bases?
Which ones are most comfortable and *effective*? Any ones that are a no-go zone?

God, I think there are just too many gimmicks. I don't see any other forms of contraception like this!

I think the scent from the 'flavoured condoms' adds to the fervour, Cibbuano...

Buying condoms is scarier than riding a roller coaster.
