Spice IT up with yoga

Listening to our bodies, opening our hearts…and becoming one…
Known for many years to be beneficial to our overall health, it is no surprise that it/yoga can revitalise and benefit the reproductive organs and enhance vital energy.
A number of poses in the yoga series are said to enhance virility. These include the shoulder stand, which amongst other benefits, regulates the sex glands; the plough pose, which amongst other benefits, calms the mind and relieves tension; and for general stamina and virility, the 12 sun salutations. These asanas/postures should only be practiced following classes and consultations with a certified yoga teacher.
For the more adventurous or to cultivate a more intimate relationship with your partner, you may want to try tantric sex. It is said and known to heighten sexual awareness and prolong intimacy between partners. Although born into practice from years ago, it is increasingly becoming a common form of extra-curricular activity with couples. While some find the experience with other couples enlightening, some prefer the privacy of their homes – whatever your feeling is, the options are endless ranging from tantric sex courses at *schools* to home courses.
A couple who took a course on tantric sex, shared that *it* has been phenomenal since. While they had never had problems with intimacy, tantric sex strengthened their relationship and intimacy level (with each other) – heightening their respective sensory awareness, as well as that of their partners...a merging of sensuality and spirituality, two becoming as one...
p/s…skip the Viagra, and get into an asana or two...

Sounds nice, if unnecessary. I wonder what happens when 2 becomes 3 and 4 and 5....I'm afraid I have a very practical turn of mind.
It may sound attractive to the young, I do agree with yoga, but I just can't help thinking it is all dead set boring.
Get the hormones going and if they don't go naturally, one has to worry what is wrong.
I think it's all a matter of expectations really.
But if other people want to do these things, it's up to them, I just feel they may be closing the doors on other things by expecting too much. I also find that generally one is much more interested in these things than the other, which can create problems.
But that's just me the 'old crone' speaking.
Once again I think it's doing what comes naturally. You know birds do it, bees do it......let's do it,
let's fall in love (translation ...let's have sex)
These things can all be taken too seriously, search for perfection, you'll be a long time finding it.
katyzzz...not wishing to be a kill joy, just attempting to present an alternative view.

I don't think tantric sex is about searching for perfection -- though I don't claim to be an expert on it. Like sexual therapy, marriage counseling, it's a mean for couples to find their intimacy level or to relate to each other. It's an alternative holistic option without drugs nor physical intervention by another person.
As always, thanks for your interesting perspective
Hiya Aimzster...it takes time and it's a little to do with *surrendering* the body... Hope u had some fun trying it, anyway.
p/s...tantric does not really involve any *compromising* positions...(I think!)
