…not your typical love site but an array of perspectives on the theme...
A date is always a bit nerve wrecking but exciting at the same time. While most might initially make it casual over a drink or two (or coffee), some might be bold enough to tackle a meal
If you live in an apartment building (like I do), and have to share the laundry room with tens of annoying others (thank goodness it’s a small building and not everyone is annoyingly irresponsible) – you can understand how it can be good and frustrating at the same time…
Dating can burn a hole in the wallet…or not. I’m all for good fun times without being over-the-top nor being *cheap* -- after all it’s the thought that was put into it that counts. Here are some date ideas to sizzle up your Summer (date) with. Have fun!
In these modern days – of mobile phones with appointment reminders, and Blackberries for e-mail on-the-go – it seems like we’re getting bombarded with work and non-fun things all the time, leaving us with even less time to do the things we really want to be doing, and perhaps even less time with that special half/partner.

Ahhh…the bliss, the peace and quiet away from all the buzz of pre-wedding preparations and the wedding event. This is the time for some loving! The time for you to privately celebrate the special relationship you have for each other
Planning that first date is probably the next most difficult step – after the asking. As the *event* that’s either going to create more future dates or not, it can neither be boring nor too impressive. Flirting is fun. It is also apparently harmless – if executed and managed in the right manner. Most of all, flirting can be that first step to making a new friend or getting to know someone. People say that flirting is natural and we don’t forget how-to – because it’s almost innate. While we may become a little rusty, we wouldn’t lose it… They say the best flirting tactics are ones where it is simple and can be easily performed.
Who really has the time to date these days? Besides trying to maintain a 9-5 job, going to the gym, spending time in queues, blogging(!!), and amongst other mundane activities – do people really have time to date?
Somewhere in time, a producer somewhere decided that there was money to be made in movies…specifically on love and romance, some known as chick flicks but some known as real classics. Whatever it is, it pulls at the heartstrings. Whether we can find romance in real life or not (it doesn’t quite matter), we can always count on finding one on the reel – whether it’s tragic, passionate or warm and fuzzy…it’ll be there
There are heaps of websites offering advice on dating and relationships. I’m not sure who writes them, but some of the advices seem more like rules for a disaster or for several steps back in time
Working out a budget for that first date can either (so said) ‘break it or make it’. It can be a strategic approach that can set the course for future dates. Much planning, thought and analysis can go into it as much as the APEC Summit Meeting
